Eco-Gold

Eco-Gold Organic Degreaser The latest development from Sierra is our new Organic degreaser that offers maximum strength from a non-regulated degreaser. The unique property of Eco-Gold is that it is able to ‘cling’ to the surface to which it is applied. Suitable for a wide variety of applications, including for use through pressure cleaners. Engine degreasing, concrete, pathways etc. The organic formulation makes Eco-Gold an ideal replacement for the flammable solvent products. Eco-Gold is fully biodegradable, and low foaming, and very low in phosphate.

Eco-Gold has a pH of above 10 so care should be excercised when leaving on painted and alloy surfaces. Ideally it should be rinsed off as soon as possible. As a guide, Eco-Gold should be use as a direct substitute for solvent degreasers or kerosene, and as such it is recommended that it should be used neat. Dilution is possible but will retard the full strength of the product. For a more general purpose and dilutable degreaser – use HD5000.

Dilution through pressure cleaners should be set at the maximum strength possible. If a non solvent degreaser is required, and it is desirable to dilute for small/minor cleaning situations, Sierra recommend the use of either HD5000 for general workshop use, or Citrus 6000 for a wider variety of uses. All Sierra degreasers are fully biodegradable.
