Uses
As supplied, Citrus 6000 is slightly alkaline in nature.
This aspect is important when being used as a degreasing agent, this is rendered almost neutral when diluted for surface cleaning, which is typically diluted to around 10 or 20 parts water to one part Citrus 6000.
Floors If using a bucket and mop – 1/2 cup to a bucket of warm water
Painted Walls Better than sugar soap. Between 5:1 and 10:1, depending on how bad the soiling is.
Decks Use as a prep before oiling or just to clean. 10:1 is normally strong enough
House Exteriors Can either be used as a spray – 20:1, or through a pressure cleaner (PC). For professional house cleaners – Sierra recommends putting 2 litres of Citrus 6000 along with 2 litres of chlorine into an empty 20 litre container, then fill the remaining 16 litres with water. Apply this mixture through PC at up to 40:1
Roofing 20:1 for heavy soiling and 50:1 for light soiling. Citrus 6000 will only remove dirt and grime. Please use Roof Tile Cleaner to remove mould.
Concrete As above, but through PC at 20:1. Alternatively, if oil is present, then apply neat to worst areas, let dwell, and agitate with a brush. Then rinse with a PC. (Note: oil will always leave a shadow)
Brickwork Same as House Exteriors and Concrete
Public Areas Usually 10:1 brushed or sprayed on, left to dwell for 2 minutes, then rinsed off, for general cleaning of equipment – use a wash mix similar to “Floors”
Motorcycles Great for cleaning dirt bikes. Use 3:1, spray directly to the cooled engine and parts. Let it dwell for a couple of minutes, then rinse off. If red dirt is present, agitate with a brush after spraying. Rinse as normal. Road bikes, too.
Auto Detailing Spot Cleaning Carpet & Fabric – 3:1. General interior 5:1. In all cases, let dwell for a minute or two first. Seats, console, dash, pedals, steering wheel and doors.
Engine degreasing 1:1 to 3:1
Fabric Great as a pre spray before washing 3:1. Spray on, rub fabric against itself, and then wash.
Carpet Normally spot clean 3:1. When used professionally – use at ¼ normal dilution.
Workshop Floors Neat, agitate with a broom, then rinse. If using regularly, then dilute 10:1
Marine Seats (3:1 to 5:1), covers, decking 5:1 to 10:1) fish boards, 3:1 and agitate then rinse
Buses Interior 15:1 for all surfaces. Floors, seats, doors etc. Can be used to remove exhaust soot 10:1
Hire Equipment Varied – between 3:1 to 10:1. Removes soil, oil, soot, grease etc.
Truck Tautliners 5:1 to 10:1 Spray on, agitate with a soft broom, rinse off.
Food Processing Equipment as with Conveyer Belt cleaning.
Restaurants/Cafes Very popular, because Citrus 6000 is food grade and will replace several chemicals into one – Spray & Wipe, floor cleaner, spot cleaner – chairs, walls.
Splash Back cleaner for kitchen.
Pressure Cleaning Extremely popular. Dosage varies according to job. Refer to House Exterior for general use
Property Management Similar to Restaurants. Replaces so many other chemicals, and usually out performs as well. Food Grade is often important too.
Earthmoving Cleans, degreases, removes red dirt staining. Cabin interior – same as auto interior
Mining Equipment Same as auto interior. Again, because it is food safe, and yet so strong, it is very well accepted

Brake Dust Easily removes brake dust. Spray 10:1, agitate with a soft brush, and hose off.
Outdoor Furniture Spray all over at 10:1, let dwell for a couple of minutes, then hose or wipe off.
The uses are endless. Often, people want an exact dilution rate for a particular application. This is difficult because it depends on how bad the soiling is, the type of soiling, and how porous the surface is, so these are a guide.
TIP: Citrus 6000 has several key ingredients, including citrus oil, which is far more effective if allowed to soak in for about 5 minutes before washing off.
The uses are almost endless. When diluted with water, its amazing at the versatility one product can have.
