Sierra have been manufacturing coolants for over a decade. All our coolants meet or exceed Australian Standards, and our Antifreeze Antiboil (SAF350) comply with many O.E. manufacturers. This page deals exclusively with our Glycol based SAF 350, meeting Australian Standard AS 2108-97 (A). Sierra SAF 350 contains the necessary additive package for complete protection against corrosion and cavitation.

 

SAF350 ENGINE COOLANT

General Description             (PDS - Cooling System)

SAF350 Engine Coolant is a low silicate proprietary blend designed to meet the performance requirements of both automotive and heavy-duty diesel engines (with no initial addition of Supplemental Coolant Additives). It is fully aluminium compatible and is suitable for use in lean burn engines where higher than normal temperatures are achieved in the head and block.

When used as a 33% by volume coolant in softened or de-mineralised water, Sierra warrants this product for 2 years or 100 000km in an automotive application.

SAF350 Engine Coolant is to be used at 50% by volume in softened or de-mineralised water for heavy-duty diesel applications. When used as a 50% by volume coolant, Sierra warrants this product for 2 years or 100 000km. A 50% pre-mixed version of SAF 350 is available - SAF 350 Premix.

SAF350 Engine Coolant meets or exceeds the performance requirements of the following engine coolant specifications.
